Dc 9v Power Adapter Polarity Can I Use 4.5V 1000mA DC Adapter To Power A Device That Originally Came With 9V 1A Adapter?

Can I use 4.5V 1000mA DC adapter to power a device that originally came with 9V 1A adapter? - dc 9v power adapter polarity

I've tried seems to work well, but I immediately unplugged sure to make sure it works. The instruction manual said:

"... The power consumption in sleep mode (the LCD is turned off) is 0.22A (9V X 0 = 1.98W .. 22A). Energy consumption in job status (when the LCD) 0.36 A (9V X 0.36A = 3 , 24 W). "

Thank you.

If the order is 9V, I am quite surprised that I could ever work with 4.5V. As with most adapters are designed for higher voltage than is actually needed, the device regulates its internal stress is generally lower than the supply adapter. For example, a very regular 9v device power consumption of approximately 6V. In your case, it can regulate effectively even lower, at 4.5 V, but it is a bad design of the device. The fund is that it works, it is difficult to know for success.

Currently, however, is that your device needs. You can use the power (in watts) by the voltage and current to calculate, but the flow of what is actually developed. Also, if necessary, is 1000mA 1A, so your adapter can not deliver power without overheating or burning (whatever) on the voltage.

Tension, as I said is what bothers me. If it works, then you can start. But it can also be found on the scalp to tip and can not work sometimes falls into their hands a little wall so REASon. If not, fine. But if you do, so do not be surprised.

Not a good idea. The tension was once again could make the engine too slowly, or the light is not as bright as necessary, or transistor bias level is not correct.
It can not hurt because the team she works as if it was too large batteries installed. Radios receive more peaceful and calm when the batteries are exhausted, and DVD players would be slower.
Probably it would be better to get a replacement card.
